The JROTC Raider team is a group of high school JROTC students that compete in physical events and competition outside of the classroom. Raiders work on events such as:

  • Cross Country Rescue (CCR)
  • 5k Team Run
  • Obstacle Course or Raider Fitness Challenge (O-Course)
  • PTT (Physical Training Test)
  • Tire Flip
  • Rope Bridge

The purpose of these events is so Raiders will develop discipline, physical and mental toughness in order enhance the leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to improve the self-confidence and esprit de corps of each Raider through the spirit of competition. The JROTC Raider Competition is a physically demanding activity, therefore Raider cadets must be prepared for it. Raiders will conduct intense physical and technical skills training up to 5 times per week during the season. Being a member of the Raider Team is not for the faint-hearted and takes an extraordinary level of commitment, discipline, and physical courage.
